Process Space Festival 2009
I traveled to Bulgaria in August 2009 for an artist residency. It was located about 2hrs north of Sofia. Special thanks to Radi and his father for making this festival/art show possible and to Moira Geoffrion, Andy & Kathryn Polk for encouraging me to pursue this residency. I spent 10 days there and my mom accompanied me on the trip. We also toured Spain, Italy and France.
The experience in Bulgaria was unique by far. My first introduction to Rakia (a national drink, highly potent & distilled from plums!)!!! Those Bulgarians know how to party!
